Join us on a joyful walk through Chiang Mai old town as we explore the best hidden wine bars. This is not a bar crawl. There are no cheap vintages. One of our stops is the Algonquin, a member’s club housed in a secret location inside the old town. Regarding guest entry, here are some things to know:

• • The Algonquin has a dress code: no flip-flops, or t-shirts. Long pants preferred.

• • This is a strictly no-phones and no photos club for member privacy.

• • The kitchen serves a full dinner menu as well as bar bites. Plan to eat — you’ll be glad you did!

• • There is a smoking area for all cigarettes and cigars (also for sale from the humidor)
