Please read these terms carefully before booking any experience with Chiang Mai Hidden Bars. By completing a booking and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. About Us
Chiang Mai Hidden Bars is operated by The Algonquin Co. Ltd., a company registered in Thailand holding a valid entertainment and alcohol service licence. Our experiences take place at licensed venues in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
2. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are made through our website and payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. You will receive a confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. Please check your spam folder if this does not arrive within 30 minutes.
Prices are listed in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of all stated inclusions. We accept major credit and debit cards. The charge on your statement will appear as Chiang Mai Hidden Bars.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- More than 24 hours before your experience: Full refund, no questions asked.
- Between 12 and 24 hours before your experience: 50% refund.
- Less than 12 hours before your experience: No refund.
To request a cancellation, please contact us at shh@chiangmaihiddenbars.com or via WhatsApp before your scheduled experience time. Cancellation requests are confirmed only when acknowledged by a member of our team.
4. Cancellation by Chiang Mai Hidden Bars
In the event that we cancel an experience due to severe weather, circumstances beyond our control, or failure to meet the minimum number of participants required to run the experience, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on a future date. We will notify you as early as possible by email and WhatsApp if a cancellation is necessary.
5. Age Requirement
All guests must be aged 20 or over to participate in any Chiang Mai Hidden Bars experience. This is in accordance with Thai law. Valid photo identification may be requested at any point during the experience. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide proof of age, without refund.
6. Alcohol and Responsible Consumption
Our experiences include alcoholic beverages as part of the itinerary. Guests are responsible for their own alcohol consumption throughout the evening. Chiang Mai Hidden Bars and The Algonquin Co. Ltd. accept no liability for the actions of guests who choose to consume alcohol in excess of what is served as part of the included experience. We reserve the right to remove any guest from an experience whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or poses a risk to themselves or others, without refund.
7. Your Responsibility
Guests are responsible for their own safety, personal belongings, and behaviour during the experience. You participate at your own risk. Chiang Mai Hidden Bars accepts no liability for loss, theft, injury, or damage sustained during any experience, except where this arises from our own negligence.
8. Itinerary and Venue Changes
Itineraries, venues, and timings are subject to change without notice due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to venue closures, private events, or safety considerations. We will endeavour to provide an equivalent experience of equal or greater value.
9. Photography and Privacy
Some of our partner venues do not permit photography. Your host will advise you at each location. Please respect these rules. Chiang Mai Hidden Bars may photograph or film experiences for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform your host at the start of the evening.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from your booking or participation in an experience shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your experience.
